Watch out for 'The Law'

So I've been trolling around MySpace checking out what there is to check out, but mainly diggin the music.

On my radar (from a post on this blog) is Jersey's Cymarshall Law. I like his style. It reminds me of someone, but I can't put my finger on who ... "Rush to the Front" is lyrically relentless; and it has a bouncy beat.

The tracks on MySpace flowed nicely. Meaning, I could listen to this in the car, in the club ... even chillin. Again, the beats were nice; not innovative, but they work and since Law dominates so aggresively, he doesn't need beats that might overwhelm his skills.

Check him out hip hoppers ... stay true, kfox

Have you peeped this ... ?

Kanye has a couple of new videos out. I want to reserve judgment on the the videos and the lyrical content.

But your feedback ... yeah, it's welcome any time. Bring it on.

Upon your request ... the Hip Hop Show Playlist

I host a hip hop radio show on WMCO. I've been hosting for about 3 years. It is creatively called "The Hip Hop Show". I have a lot of fun with it. But I rarely get much feedback from the show. However, the I have consistently received feedback from guys who apparently listen from the nearby correctional facility. They just like hearing the music. So we have that in common.

A recent letter from the guys focused on one particular show: Saturday, March 31, 2007. I don't remember anything special about the show, but they were convinced that lyrically, that show was incredibly strong!

Since some of the hip hop that I play on my show needs to be edited, I have to put it into a computer database. As a result, I can go into the database and retrieve the playlist from any given day; though I've seldom had occasion to do that. So, that is what I have done.
