Check out Paul Marz

This hip hop artist, Paul Marz, popped up on my Facebook page in the right column w/the ads. It got my interest because it says that he's an Egyptian/MC lyricist though born in Staten Island.

I thought I'd check him out. The track below, "Sword of Sound" has a heavy layer, basement kind of sound. It's likable and flows well for Marz as he confidently lays down his lyrics. He has a good amount of tracks posted on SoundCloud too.

This is interesting: I like the Wu-Tang Clan ("Wu-Tang Clan Forever" is one of my favs). But in the past two weeks, I came across two very interesting article about Wu-Tang:

VIDEO: Madcon "Beggin'"

This song by Madcon is killer: "Beggin'". I'm crazy about the singing; that voice is sooo on point. But then they backed up the track w/a vid that just comes correct.

Aesop Rock in Typography

I was checking out this track from Aesop Rock "9-5ers". It's a cool track, but there was one part of the song, where I was like ... "damn, that's strong." Then I found this vid that clearly highlights the lyrics. You're gonna like this.

Brother Ali posted this vid on Facebook the other day. I had to check it out to see if it was authentic. Seems it is.

Everyone's fav neighbor was getting some dance lessons; hip hop dance lessons; breakdancing lessons! Love that.
